The annual Carol service was held on December 18th with a packed church and wonderful mulled wine and mince pies afterwards. Our children were fantastic as usual!
This year, the fete had a Second World War theme and many people dressed up, with children as evacuees. ‘Captain Mainwaring’ arrived to declare the show open and then judged the Fancy Dress. The main arena was surrounded by many different stalls - BBQ, Indian snacks, a ‘Naafi’ canteen, White Elephant, Produce stall, Nail bar, Face painting and many others. There were games to play, Classic cars to inspect, tombola and raffle, tug of war and races for every age group. A highlight was the fly past of an RAF Search & Rescue helicopter. The day closed with the ever popular Dog Show. All in all a fantastic day which raised over £2,500 for the New Hall Fund. Take a look at our Photo Gallery.
All Saints Christmas Coffee Morning was held for the third year running – this year at Camborne Cottage, a treat everyone enjoyed, thanks to the delightful surroundings, our wonderful hosts and not least the mulled wine supplied by them! A huge thank you to all who helped with their time and gifts, to all who came and spent their money, and especially Anne and Peter Norman for allowing us to use their lovely home. A profit in excess of £800 was made for All Saints.
Two of our stall holders get ready for business.

After the success of last year’s Seniors Christmas lunch at the Cock in Lavenham, we simply had to repeat it! Again, it took place over two days - here’s some photos of the usual suspects... Check out the gallery.
A new event for families and their children started on February 5th in All Saints Church - breakfast, story and activities. Despite the overnight heavy snowfall, around 24 people gathered at 9am - the bacon/sausage butties went down a treat.
The story was about Adam and Eve and the ensuing crafts included making marzipan fruits, decorating snakes amidst much fun and laughter. We will do it all over again on March 4th. Do come! In the meantime, take a look at our photo gallery.
