Annual General Meeting

All residents of Drinkstone are very welcome
The business of the meeting will include the receipt of the Annual Report and Accounts for the preceding year from the Committee and the election of members to serve on the Committee for the coming year. Honorary Officers will be elected following the AGM. Nominations for election to the Committee of any Drinkstone resident who would like to take an active part in the running of the village hall may be made at the meeting.
Come to the pub night at the village hall from 7 pm to 11 pm, serving beer, cider, lager, wine and soft drinks.
All residents of Drinkstone are invited by the Village Hall Committee to come to our Annual Mulled Wine and Mince Pie morning on Saturday 15th December between 11 am and 12.45 pm. The Grand Hamper draw will take place at 12.30 pm.
There will be a display by the Art Group, a bric-a-brac table, a Christmas Craft table and a display by the WI.

Thanks to a very successful fund raising project, the demountable stage has been purchased and delivered. It was used for the first time at the very enjoyable Hut Theatre Concert ‘Embraceable Ella’ on Saturday 20th October.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project.

Tickets for this evening are now available for £8 per person from Sue Foulsham and Merete Bland via firstname.lastname@example.org. The evening will include a wine tasting competition. Numbers will be limited to 60 and are selling well already.
The next pub night on Saturday 16th June is starting earlier than normal and extending a special welcome to Drinkstone families with children under 14 years of age from 6 pm to 8 pm. The bar will be serving wine, beer, cider and soft drinks. Come and chat with neighbours and friends, old and new (hopefully in the garden).
At long last, a warm sunny day for the Sale Trail that took place on the morning of Saturday 5th May. Lots of people, lots of garages and lots of bargains. Thanks to all who contributed in any way at all, including all those good people that came and spent their money!
And it will all happen again next year so see you there!
