Compare our plot now with early Spring!
Mid July 2011: Harvested so far: potatoes, courgettes, marrows, raspberries (pick and eat as you go!), green beans, cabbages, lettuce, nasturtium seeds (some has been pickled), shallots. Coming along are: onions, leeks, spinach, carrots, parsnips, pumpkin, gooseberry. Not to mention some magnificent sunflowers! The produce is shared between the families of the children who are there when the crop is harvested - and obviously on what they want!
October 2011: One of those rare Indian summers and it’s back to T shirts to get the last of the crops in.
Mid October 2011: At the end of our first summer, lovely Dads Pete and Phil made a fantastic seating area.
